Worked awesome, no setup issues

The cable worked great once I read the instructions and remembered the data port is on the left side of the radio, and is not shared with the Mic port as in other radios. The software is like Chirp, but easier, and allows me to adjust more settings. Only improvement I would suggest is that they have pop ups that define what the abbreviations are in the radio settings part.

Your program was great good product and I was kind of hoping to get it on the CD but after your internet was fine. The only thing you're lacking is a proper manual to be able to really get the maximum out of the program.

This makes programming and naming channels very easy. I wish they had Mac compatibility. I’m lucky I kept my 6 year old windows laptop for times like this. Overall a good product that does exactly as advertised.

As I reviewed the KG-1000G plus mobile radio I am very impressed with the build quality and features of this radio. The sound is superb. This radio will come in very useful for my needs as I travel to Boise Idaho and the state of Utah. There are plenty of repeaters along the way and the KG-1000G plus has plenty of channels to cover my traveling routs. The 50 Watt power will also be a plus in ares where there are no repeaters.
