The RT Systems RPS-KG1000G Programming Kit makes it easy to program your Wouxun KG-1000G or KG-1000G Plus base/mobile radio! The USB cable is simple to install on a Microsoft Windows PC. The radio programming software is designed for the programming of all memories and the simple selection of menu options of your radio from the convenience of your PC. Together, the RT Systems USB cable and software Programmer let you manage your radio and its programmable features hassle-free. There's no messy setup or configuration between the driver, cable or programmer software - it just works!

This makes programming and naming channels very easy. I wish they had Mac compatibility. I’m lucky I kept my 6 year old windows laptop for times like this. Overall a good product that does exactly as advertised.

Your program was great good product and I was kind of hoping to get it on the CD but after your internet was fine. The only thing you're lacking is a proper manual to be able to really get the maximum out of the program.

The cable worked great once I read the instructions and remembered the data port is on the left side of the radio, and is not shared with the Mic port as in other radios. The software is like Chirp, but easier, and allows me to adjust more settings. Only improvement I would suggest is that they have pop ups that define what the abbreviations are in the radio settings part.
