Tram 11861 Amateur Dual-Band High Gain Magnet Antenna

Currently, I am using this Tram 11861 Mag mount antenna indoors (I live in an apartment) by a window mounted to a large cookie sheet for ground plane until I am able to put up a base UHF/VHF antenna that will not me into trouble with apartment management. I have used it on a vehicle for running around town and the magnet holds well but have yet to try it at highway speeds. Being a Tram, I expect that it will do well on the highway also. I am even working on a mounting "plate" so that I can use it on the motorcycle. 73 KO4TXV

If you can't put a antenna out side do to where you live this one works great inside by a window using a large pizza tin for a base on a ajustable tir-pod. I also use this antenna for 1.25 meter and works good.
