Nicely laminated for protection, displays quick useful info at a glance.
Functional quick reference and makes freq. programming easier.
Excellent
Great reference guide for the newbie here. I am able to see what the frequency’s are power requirements.
Probably Durable - A Little Large
I suppose I should have thought about the size prior to the purchase. It's still a good reference sheet to have. Large fonts, for those who need it, are easy to read. And likely it will be durable.
Good quick reference
Just what I read looking for. Good quick reference.
Very Useful
Cist effective handy reference for novice or expert.
Needs updating
Great chart to have when learning GMRS, and handy to have on the road in case other GMRS radios use the numerical number instead of the actual CTCSS code or DCS code. Only has the first 83 DCS codes listed. Most radios have at least 104 now. Maybe as high as 105-110 for some. I printed the Midland extra channels 1-50 and taped to the back. Also nice to have.
Great reference
Nice reference chart for folks new to GMRS. I found it to be very helpful and keep it right at my base station for quick reference if needed. The DCS codes need to be updated, but it is helpful as different radios enter the codes differently.
OK layout but not thrilled with layout
I personally feel the chart is too busy. Some of the information should be on the back. The lamination is great, but there is no differentiation of which channels require a GMRS license. The power chart in lower left corner should be a part of the right side channel chart. The channels, frequencies, license requirement, and power should be color coded. The CTCSS and DCS and mileage, range chart approximation charts should go on the back. Just a couple of days ago I spoke 70 miles mountain top to mountain with my new Wouxun KG-935 HT Mount Equinox Vermont to Mount Greylock, Massachusetts. Mileage chart be damned.
GOOD Reference Card
Good stuff, Maynard.
Handy
I found myself constantly googling gmrs frequencies... I thought, I need a chart... Another quick google search brought me here and I bought the gmrs chart and the cb chart... They are very nice laminated and very informative...
