The Uniden GMR4055-2CK is a state-of-the-art radio built for hiking, skiing, camping, and other outdoor family activities. It supports all 22 FRS/GMRS channels with 121 privacy codes. It also supports NOAA weather channels and weather alert so you can be prepared when outside.

The Uniden GMR4055 features a backlit display, vibrate call alert, 10 Call Tones, channel scan, Power Boost PTT, keypad lock and VOX capability. It also has a built-in emergency strobe light for use as a flashlight or emergency beacon.

The GMR4055 is powered by 3 AA alkaline batteries (not included) or 3 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries (included). When using the rechargeable batteries, the 4055 can be charged using the drop-in desktop charger ot through the built-in mini-USB port on top of the radio.

The GMR-4055 is also JIS4 water resistant from water spray, ensuring a measure of durability from inclement weather out in the field.
