The Uniden MHS126 is a waterproof, portable two-way VHF marine radio with outstanding features. With its rugged, floating design, this handheld radio will give you consistent, reliable service in virtually all weather conditions.

The Uniden MHS126 is constructed to meet the JIS8 and IPX8 standards for waterproofing, allowing the MHS126 to be submerged in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. The MHS126 is backed by a 3 year Manufacturer's Waterproof Protection Warranty.

The MHS126 offers dual power options. It can operate on a Lithium Ion battery pack for up to 12 hours and or on alkaline batteries with the alkaline battery tray (alkaline batteries not included).

The Uniden MHS126 supports all USA/International and Canadian Marine Channels. It is equipped with 10 NOAA weather channels and weather alerts. It has a large LCD screen to display messages that are easy to read.

The MHS126 also features selectable power levels, memory scan mode, dual and triple watch operation, emergency 16/9 channel monitoring, and a high intensity LED emergency strobe light. When activated, the light will flash a pre-programmed SOS alert in international Morse Code.
