I don't think I would buy this again
The first one I put on my Baofeng came apart. It straight up broke in three . The other one has worked just fine.

Very handy
I use this to attach my mag mount mobile antenna. It works great. I bought 4 of them because why not. Definitely not something I can buy locally.
Simple and basic adapter
Fairly basic. No moving parts. Seems to leave a small gap that could be filled with an external gasket/oring. Works well at hooking up a mag mount antenna to a portable handheld. Buddy was evaluating this for a Baofeng UV-82 with a tram 1185 cut and tuned to commercial bands. Gave us about a 5 mile radius (non los) out of that little 5w HT on the 1185. Loss is likely minimal but untested.

The lower female connect got detached and unusable.
