The SWR at 224MHz is about 1.4:1, which is an excellent match. On 2M and 70CM, however, the match is closer to 2.5-3.5:1. It is usable on 2M and 70CM, but really shines on 1.25M.

has the sma male connector like on yaesu's and many of japanese radios. bought to use on a new baofeng s9 triband and have to use double female adapter with spacer. works super using second one on a yaesu vx7- had to cut down 1/8 inch plastic at base of antenna that did not allow it to seat on yaesu properly- 2 minutes to do and works super on it also- great antenna for price.
