Had another brand antenna installed that didn’t produce the SWR results needed after “tuning” it. This antenna had a much lower reading. No trimming necessary. Recommend.

Bought this antenna to pair with my Wouxun KG-1000g mobile radio, and it is great. no trimming needed and is high qaulity.
Price was right and they work great.
Because they where set to GMRS was no need to trim any of them.
SWR of 1.86…my 1/2 wave is better
I needed a smaller antenna without the ground plane requirement, and SWR needs to be reasonable. I was disappointed to see this antenna is a lot longer than my 1/2 wave NGP antenna, has a higher SWR than my 1/2 wave NGP antenna, and requires a ground plane unlike my 1/2 wave NGP antenna.
Price was right and they work great.
This antenna was made for the KG-1000G no need to trim . Easy to install.
Good antenna, but a bit tall
Because of the tall trees in my area, purchased this antenna for the car. Works very well.
