Multi-function
In a perfect world, we/I would love to have a KG1000 in every car we own and use it as a base station. The extra bracket allows for a quick and easy transfer to mobile users for a trip or camper or whatever. Think multifunction and the cost of your KG1000 becomes of more value.
Excellent Mobile bracket
There are three things about this bracket that make it perfect. 1. Heavy gauge, strong, with a lot of attachment slots and holes. 2. It has slots that the radio slides into. You don't have to fight the tiny screws. Put them in the radio then slide the radio into the bracket slots and tighten the screws. 3.It fits many radios.
