Good quality
Power cord review
I recently ordered a replacement power cord for my TYT DMR radio. The cord was exactly as advertised and I received if quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. But postage was way to much for item so my next order was with a different vendor with more reasonable postage cost.
GREAT POWER CORD..
I took a chance on buying this power cord because it is NOT stated on the website what GAUGE is this wire !? Luckily, it ended up being Thicker than what I ok purchased on Amazon. So far, I'm satisfied with it. It is Definitely Quality.
Good quality
Wire quage was perfect, not sure about the fuse. Would prefer an automotive type fuse
Needed the driver
When I first connected the cable to the 1000G Plus and my computer it didn't work. I watch the "download driver" video and did what it recommended. After the driver was installed it worked perfectly.
Oops wrong review.
I put the review for the USB Programming cable for this review. But this power cable seems to be working. I ordered an extra one so I could put one in my other car so I could move the 1000G Plus in either one instead of buying 2 1000G. The power cord was easy to install in both vehicles (once I figured how to get through the firewall). Unfortunately I had to cut the power cord to get it through the firewall. Once I was in the cab I spliced them back together.
Just what I was expecting
Instead of pulling the wiring out for my kg 1000g plus radio of my other vehicle I got the exact same cable that came with it right from it two way radios. Exactly as described. It arrived a little bit late because of the weekend and the Postal Service not running but no fault of buy two radios for sure. It's literally the same connection same wires everything that comes with the radio.
