Wouxun Screen Protector for KG-935G / KG-UV8H / KG-UVN1

The size of the screen protector is perfect for the Wouxun KG-UV8H. However when the product is installed, it does not fully attach to the screen and you get areas where you can see that does not look good. Rats. I wish it would have worked better. This product does not seem to be sticky enough to work correctly. It was very easy take back off after it did not work right.

I am the designated person in my family to put screen protectors on all kinds of devices, so I've got a fair bit of experience.
To begin with, the wet wipe was completely dry. The instructions were vague. It was next to impossible to install this without dust/bubbles. If you don't get it right the first time, forget it, there is no second chance. Waste of money, I'll take my chances without it rather than buy another protector and waste my money again.

It is obvious that they don’t fit all the reviews of people stating this so I really don’t understand why they continue to sell it with all of these reviews. Mine did not fit and I feel like it was a waste of money.

I like the idea of the screen protector. In and of itself it seems it would be a good product. But like many others here, it does not fit the screen. It’s too big in the corners or not flush with the screen in that regard it was a waste of money. If you have a screen slightly bigger, this will work fine on it.

I wanted this to work but on the kg-935g+ it stayed lifted in the corners and just would not work.

Wish I knew about this when buying radio. Paid $5 for shipping alone. Took 10+ days to ship. I run a small business and ship larger padded envelopes for cheaper than they charged and half the amount of time shipping transit.

The wet wipe that came with the kit was just as dry as the dry wipe.

As far as fitment it was a slight too big. I found this out after I went to apply as two edges wouldn't sit thus cause air bubble. I did a quick trim of top corners and during that whole moment got some dust in there so when it fit enough now air pockets. Did best to get them out but still there. On top of that there are now janky edge corners I cut so even if I did get dust free it wouldn't look good regardless.

Basically a waste of $10. Better off buying film off Amazon for a smartphone and cutting to size on your own for cheaper.

This is perfectly cut for the KG-935G Plus.

Too big for KG-935G+

I read some of the other reviews that indicated the screen protector was a tad too large. At first, I thought mine was as well. I rotated the protector 90 degrees and it fit perfectly. Maybe it was luck, but mine fits perfectly and was a breeze to install. It’s the firm type of protector vs. a thin film. I love it. No bubbles and it’s 100% clear.

This screen protector does appear to be high quality. However, it is just a wee bit too wide for the screen on the KG-935G. This is easy enough to rectify, though: just cut off about 1/16" and a tad on the corners before you peel off the backing, and it should work fine.

It did not fit the 935g

Well, I have two radios, the first protector I did ok once I figured out which side actually sticks to the radio screen. Te second one is great. Thinking about getting another set for future use if needed.

The screensaver is too big for the KG-UV8H. I threw it away.
