It works for testing. But! not at all sure its supposed to work as good as it does as an antenna? I have no problem sending and receiving 400 yards to my repeater with a 4 watt HT using the dummy load. I may be wrong but at least in part its not really supposed to do that ?

It work great for testing things like ht and moblie radios
