Insertion loss was terrible
Nice compact size, the specs looked good on paper but in my experience, the insertion loss of >6dB on the low side was not usable.

Price was right and they work great.
I asked them to tune it to my frequencies and they did made things so much easier Works great have a range of close to 30 miles depending or direction.

BOUGHT THIS DUPLEXER TO USE AS A BACK UP 12 VOLT MOBILE REPEATER (2 MOTOROLA SM-50) WITH A ID CONTROLER. THIS UNIT OPERATES JUST LIKE A FACTORY BUILT REPEATER. OUTSTANDING. I WILL BUY ANOTHER XLT DUPLEXER WHEN THEY ARE BACK IN STOCK. I HAVE DEALT WITH BUY TWOWAY RADIOS FOR MANY YEARS , THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH.

Perfectly tuned to my requested frequencies.
Installed with no issues it was perfectly tuned to my requested frequencies with a SWR reading of 1.01. Could not have ask for more.

Excellent duplexer
Insertion loss was excellent. Bought this to replace a “cheap” duplexer that came with a repeater that wouldn’t tune on the high side. Also added an amp to it and now have a clean 30 watts going to the antenna. Would not hesitate to buy another if needed.
Second Duplexer
This review is for my second duplexer from BTWR. The first was a replacement for a cheap Chinese duplexer that was never tuned as asked and failed pretty quick (NOTE: don't buy cheap chinese junk), that one is still in business and works great. The second is tuned great and was bought for a friend that no longer wants to put up a repeater so it is a good spare as of now. Great place to do business.
