The XLT DR100-MB1 is a very stable earpiece with an around-the-ear "D" ring style loop to hold the earpiece comfortably in place. The earpiece rests against the outside of the ear, making the DR100 less intrusive than some other styles. This model is a great choice when several people will be sharing an earpiece.

Good for hearing aid users

I work in a performing arts center setting. I used a Rocket Science M-1 headset for years that had a lapel clip on the PTT button. This makes the button close at hand when needed. Since I started wearing hearing aids, I switched to a D-Ring headset to wear over the hearing aid. The performance of the headset works well except that the PTT button hangs loose and it takes some fumbling to find and grip the button when needed. Replacing the straight wire with a coiled one would work similar to the M-1 sound tube and wouldn't look so sloppy. Make that improvement and I would be happy to buy extras and share with my co-workers. As you can see above, editing feature doesn't work very well!
