The Baofeng UV-9G is a rugged, IP67-rated GMRS handheld built for everyday use, trail days, and emergency readiness. With 22 modifiable GMRS simplex channels and 8 modifiable GMRS repeater channels, you can transmit confidently and scan widely with maximum mobility at low cost.

The UV-9G features 87 programmable receive-only channels plus 11 NOAA Weather Radio channels for fast storm alerts. It has channel scanning, dual watch and CTCSS/DCS scan. Other features include 65-108Mhz FM radio, DTMF code, Dual display switch and 155 privacy codes (50 CTCSS and 105 DCS). The UV-9G also features built-in VOX (Voice Operated Transmit) for hands-free operation and a high illumination flashlight.

The Baofeng UV 9G has up to 5W of power and is powered by 1800mAh Li-Ion battery pack for up to 12 hours (approx.) of operation. A battery save feature helps conserve power until it is needed.
