BlackBox two way radios are built for range and for durability. The BlackBox Plus UHF radio is also extremely compact. But don't let it's small size fool you. The Blackbox Plus comes packed with power and features. This UHF radio offers up to 4 watts of transmit power and support for 16 channels with 50 CTCSS and 104 CDCSS private line codes. But that's just for starters.

The BlackBox Plus features 2-Tone Encode/Decode, VOX, Voice Enunciation for each channel, a Programmable Button, Busy Channel Lockout, a Time-out Timer, Priority Scan and low battery alert.

Durability is built into the BlackBox Plus. This radio is enclosed in an all-metal chassis and is IP54 water resistant. Even with this toughness, the radios are still amazingly small and lightweight. The BlackBox Plus is only 1.26" L x 2.165" W x 4.37" H and weighs only 8.2 ounces (232g).

The BlackBox is a fully programmable radio, but comes pre-programmed with standard frequencies. If there are specific frequencies that you need supported, let us know! If you do not request specific frequencies, we will ship the radio with the default frequencies.

This BlackBox UHF radio operates on UHF frequencies. It can be programmed for frequencies in the range of 450 Mhz to 470 Mhz. Two way radios operating on UHF frequencies perform best inside steel or concrete structures.
