Besides two-way communications, in the U.S.A., the radio can provide quick access to receive all ten (10) NOAA (National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration) weather channels and alert you to weather emergencies with a tone on a weather channel you can select for your area. The Cobra Marine MR-F55-D meets JIS7 standards, making it submersible for 30 minutes in one meter deep water.

Its compact design and included flush and bracket mounting kits make it great for any installation.
The noise-cancelling microphone blocks out background noise for clearer conversations. The selectable 1 or 25 Watt output is perfect for short or long-range communication.
