Expand your MURS communications with the Dakota Alert M-538BS 2-Way MURS Base Station! The M538-BS is a full function MURS transceiver that operates right from your desktop for instant access to any other MURS radio within your area, business or domain. The Multi-Use Radio Service (MURS) can be used for home or business, and the Dakota Alert M538 is built for both, license-free!
The M538-BS has five channels and 38 sub-channels to help you communicate freely with other users in your group. It plugs into an AC power outlet for continuous uptime, so you can monitor communications aroung the clock, 12/7. It features an adjustable antenna, LCD display, and loud internal speaker with volume control. It also has a tone alert that activates both an audible tone and visual icon when it receives an alert signal.
The M538-BS Base Station can receive alert signals from the optional MURS Alert™ transmitter (sold separately). It is also equipped with a normally open (N/O) relay output that can be used to connect the M528-BS to other existing systems such as alarm panels or doorbells. This is useful for many applications, including small businesses, farmers, security guards or home monitoring systems.
The Dakota Alert M538-BS Base Station comes with one base station unit, AC transformer, adjustable antenna, owner's manual and a one year manufacturer warranty.
