The Galaxy DX 959B CB Radio is the next generation of the high-end DX959 series that still has the classic CB radio design you expect in a Galaxy radio, but with a blue LED display. The DX959B is designed for professionals and serious CB operators. These Galaxy CB radios are popular with professional truckers for a reason, and the DX 959B continues the Galaxy tradition of quality and reliability.
The DX 959B is a 40 channel SSB CB radio and has all of the features you expect of its predecessor, including an easy to read signal/power/SWR meter, and heavy duty tuning knobs and switches. The CB also has 1.0 KHz receive clarifier, talkback control, volume/squelch control, noise blanker and automatic noise limiter, mic gain control and roger beep switch, PA or noise filter switch, SWR alert indicator, roger beep indicator, green / red receive and transmit indicator, power output control, and dimmer control. The channel selector is easy to use, and the LED channel indicator and frequency display are easy to read.
