The radio has 15 GMRS channels with channel scan and 121 sub-channels/privacy codes (38 conventional QT codes and 83 DQT codes). The FreeTalk XLS comes with a rapid rate desktop charger and spring loaded belt clip.

NOTICE: The TK-3131 has been discontinued by Kenwood. However, we are able to program the TK-3130 to become compatible with a default TK-3131. The radios are identical, but once we program a TK-3130 to match it is no longer user configurable. If you order this product you will be shipped a TK-3130, re-programmed to match a default TK-3131. This will not void the warranty.

Great Product
We use these at my restaurant to communication between the wait staff, kitchen, and manager. We recently replaced our general manager, and he had purchased the 3131 a few years ago, and we think from either Korea or China--not really Kenwood. When we purchased the first three of these, everything was so much better than what we had that we immediately ordered three more. Awesome!
Great radio, planning on buying more
This has been a great radio for more than 5 yrs. We use these via autocom setup on our motorcycles. we always use vox and have never had to mess with them since we initially set them up years ago. Our setups are portable so we can use them on street bikes and dual sport bikes both. Always crystal clear and are a great safety assest to our riding.
Great Customer Service!
Great Customer Service. We have many radios that we use in the office and Rob was able to help me with getting additional radios that work with the ones we already have. One of our units charging station was not working so I sent it back and they will be sending me a new one.
