The Motorola Talkabout MC225R two way radio is a great general purpose radio. This radio is great for emergency preparedness kits, as a set of backup radios, or for camping trips and other outdoor adventures.
The Motorola MC225R comes with digital camouflage faceplate, and is compatible with all FRS/GMRS radios. It supports 22 channels and 38 privacy codes (836 total combinations) with up to 16 miles of range in ideal conditions (up to around 2 miles in urban conditions).
Other features include channel scan, low battery alert, backlit display, and Motorola's Quiet Talk function. This value pack includes two Motorola MC225R radios and a dual pocket desk charger with NiMH rechargeable batteries!

Just what we needed for a good price.
These things are good if used occasionally. We are using them for a small business spread between 3 buildings and they work great for that. I only gave it 3 stars because of the 10 we bought, 9 have busted belt clips. Advice, buy a holster!!
