Quick delivery, works well
I have previously used a Nagoya 771-G antenna successfully on my Radioddity GM-30. So when I bought a Wouxan 805g, I wanted to get another 771-G. The new one works well just like the previous one.

Great Upgrade
First of all, I know there are a lot of people who sell this antenna, and I have seen reviews where the person bought it off another site and it was a FAKE.... I don't worry about that here, I know it is 100% authentic.... Now, on to the review. I installed this on my Wouxun 805G. Great Radio with a pretty good stock antenna. I have a couple of Repeaters near me, one at about 10 miles, the other at about 13 miles. With the stock antenna, I could almost always hit the 10 mile repeater, but hardly ever the 13 mile one. After I installed this antenna, I can hit Both repeaters almost 100% of the time. For the low cost, and efficiency of this Antenna, you just can't go wrong. Nagoya 771G
I have not had a chance to do a full review of the Nagoya 771G yet . So far it has done well with what distance I have tried . I think I was a mile from our home . The signal was loud and clear both RX/TX . That was with hill and trees between use.
Great product!
I am using this on my Wouxan 905G. Stock antenna got me about 6-7 miles here in eastern CO. Switched over to the 771 and had about 10-12 mile range. I am happy with it as much as I am happy with the radio. Great service as well from the company!
great upgrade
not to much to say it is worth the money the upgrade is wonderfull gets out and receives way better than the stock one
Shipping and antenna
First off the shipping was fast 3 days and the antenna is way better than I expected very happy with the product and been very happy with the few I didn’t say I have purchased the shipping has been absolutely great the products have worked as stated. Great performance, a bit unwieldy, but really worth it
It clearly improved my signal reception. The price is good too, great value. But the antenna is a bit more flexible than I expected, nothing problematic, just a little more unwieldy when say, climbing up a windy hill. I hooked it to the side of my backpack and used an earbud-style headset with its own PTT button, worked like a charm with my wouxun 905g. This antenna is really worth it. I highly recommend it!
Not an improvement
I bought 4 of the 771-G's. All 4 tested almost the same as the 771. The latter set was 1.85:1 and 771-G's were 1.64-1.82:1. I tested them across the 462.550-462.725. Disappointed and going to return all 4 antenna
