Bhm-78
Works better then you would think. Great job working the Bluetooth in the car with the Media system and the Vero Vr N7500
Excellent
Received mic in 3 days. Great. It shipped in chinese. Tech support was excellent in walking me trough to get English menus Mic works great so far. Paired easily to my phone and radio with no issues, Transmits and receives very well.
I like the color screen and having a cordless mic/speaker
I haven't been through the whole menu but I like the screen display and the aprs features. It is nice to not have to use the plug in microphone speaker or my phone/tablet with the radio. This is a nice option to have. I did find that there's a delay before it connects with the radio, so I found it's best to wait a second to start speaking when pushing in the PTT button for transmitting. Again, the learning curve is longer, but it'll be worthwhile.

It is the Bomb!
I purchased both BT mics and really like this one better because of the range I can sit in one room with radio in another and participate in nets while sitting in a recliner!

I have one in my truck and love it. Works great, long battery life, screen is very visible and it is comfortable in your hand. The connection is flawless, regardless of whether the radio is on first or the mic is on first, the connection grabs automatically as soon as both the radio and mic are on. output audio is ok, on par with many of the HT's out there, Input audio required a little adjusting in the HT software but now is getting good reports. If you are on the fence on this, I have both the regular mic and this unit and I like this unit with the display much better!
Pairsed with the VR-N7500 perfectly
Very good - makes the VR-N7500 so easy to use. Either in the house or in the car for the ultimate 'invisible' install.
It connects to the radio over bluetooth - and that range can be limited in the home. It seems to depend on the construction type and the location of the radio in the home. Not an issue in the car though. You can switch channel banks, change channel etc. Cannot program though - but the phone app is for that. I have the phone in a dock running the app and this for the speaker/mic/ptt - and together it all works perfectly. Even better - no radio visible in the car. Fantastic!

Useful addition to the VR-N7500 radio
I like using the BHM-78 with the VR-N7500 radio. My only major complaint, with the BHM-78, is that the Bluetooth range with the radio is very short. At 20 line of site, the audio quality noticeably begins to deteriorate. Looking at the device itself, you would think that the antenna housing actually contains an antenna. Mine does not. I will be contacting support for this issue. The BHM-78 gives you bluetooth speaker mic functionality. You can control the radio with it. Contacts report good audio quality. The speaker sounds good. The BHM-78 can turn the radio off and on, once paired. If the radio is turned off by the smartphone app, the BHM-78 is not able to turn the radio back on, unless using the smartphone app or re-pairing the BHM-78 to the radio.
Great add-on to VR-N7500
The BHM-78 is a great addition to the VR-N7500. I liked scanning the 15 channels which meant the hassle of configuring of my iPhone each time. I am well pleased with the unit and the service provided by this company.
