Rugged and Loud
Has loud audio, but a short cord. Cord could be a foot or two longer.
Good quality product.
It's always good to have a spare microphone for radios that have the module "clip type" connectors as sometimes after several removals/re-installs, the clips can break off. I wish these had the newer button labels (such as "area" v.s. "main").

Original replacement for worn out microphone.

I bought a brand new KG-UV980P and had very low and fluctuating transmit audio, regardless of crystal clear signal.
Bought this microphone and it's working perfectly now. Fixed my problem so I'm very happy with this microphone.
