The Cobra microTALK CXT225 is a compact and easy to use FRS/GMRS radio with a maximum range of up to 20 miles (typically less than a mile in urban conditions). The CXT225 has 22 GMRS/FRS channels and 121 privacy codes.
The CXT225 comes with a lot of great features such as 5 call tones, VOX hands free operation , NOAA weather alerts, LCD screen, battery saver, and a low battery indicator. The CXT225 is a lead free product and has new eco-friendly packaging.
This value pack includes two Cobra CXT225 two way radios with attached belt clips, AC plug-in charger, and NiMH rechargeable batteries.

Only talks in one direction
The units only talk in one direction, the other will not communicate back. I just tried to use the units this week.
Nice radio
I used this 2-way radio every day for 3-4 mo. and I very happy! Range more 1.5 mile is perfect tx/rx and clear sound
CXT275, not this model 225, but same?
bought the Motorola MR350 as an upgrade, a little bigger,but seems better and has headphone/mic/PTT on aux jack.
