Range is very good for all over Disney Theme Parks,but users complaint it's easy to enter a program mode while pushing PTT button.
A quality radio with lots of power
I use this radio to keep in contact with a group of my friends while riding in Duel Sport off road adventures. It's great because the range of this radio allows us to be miles away from each other yet still keep in contact while staying out of the dust!

My wife and I use the radios in large stores or parking lot to inside a large building or from home to local village about a mile away.They are so clear it's like we were sitting across from each other at a small table.No static at all.I caused a problem by plaling with the buttons under the PTT button. Called you and was told to turn one radio off, press the button under the PTT, turn on the radio while holding the button, release the button when the amber light comes on and try the radio.If it doesen't work try the same thing on the other radio, They stayed with me while I did this and we have not had another problem.

Just Perfect!
Used three (3) of these for extended hiking through remote areas of the Canadian Rockies this summer. Range was great. Wonderful clarity of sound. Reception always reliable. It was a great comfort to stay in contact with other members of my group even when we were hours apart. Highly recommended!

The Kenwood TK-3402-U16P is excellent radio. Works well with my older Kenwood thanks to great service of programming the new unit by Buy Two Way Radios staff. Would buy again.
