The Motorola SX900R two way radio is a great all around radio, providing a nice combination of features at a value price. The SX900R offers up to a 18 mile range in optimal conditions (up to 1 mile in urban conditions), and interference will not be a problem as you can choose from 121 privacy codes on each of the 22 FRS and GMRS channels. This model also provides the iVOX hands-free feature, along with support for 11 NOAA weather channels with alerts! The SX900R is also equipped with a mini-USB port, which means it can be charged using a standard USB cable. These cables are widely used by cell phones, MP3 players, and many other small electronic devices!
