The Uniden GMR1448-2CK is a powerful 14 mile two way radio supporting 22 channels, each with 99 privacy codes. The GMR-1448-2CK also features Uniden's voice scrambling feature, which helps keep your conversations private. This model is also a weather radio, supporting NOAA weather channels and providing weather alerts in areas where they are available. The GMR-1448-2CK also supports hands-free operation (with optional accessory). In addition, the Uniden GMR-1448-2CK also offers a channel scan feature and 5 call tones.

To take advantage of the voice scrambling, all members of your party must have Uniden radios that support these features.
