The CXT145 features NOAA weather channels as well as all 22 FRS/GMRS channels with a maximum range of up to 16 miles in optimal conditions (typically less than a mile in urban conditions). The CXT 145 also has the basic features you would expect in a standard, entry level radio for typical family use, such as auto squelch, battery saver, call alert tone, keystroke tones, LCD screen, low battery indicator and a roger beep. The CXT145 is also a lead free product and comes in an eco-friendly package.

My son worked very hard to earn these walkie talkies in a fundraiser for his school and is not very disappointed. The devices won't even turn on.

I purchased this as my husband was just released from hospital and i thought this would save him from shouting for me and save me from going up and down the stairs that he isn't able to climb yet. it worked for about 1 minute it has been on charge for 2 hours and it still wont work. Will be returning it tomorrow
