With 16 channels and CTCSS/DCTS tone filtering you can have interruption free communications. With 500mW audio output it provides clear, low noise sound output. It also has an emergency send feature.
The Icom IC-F3011 comes with a Li-ion battery pack. The radio also comes with a belt clip and removable antenna, and rapid charger.

Solid Performance
Rugged and easy to use. Exactly what we need as surveyors. They seem to hold up much better than the more expensive Motorola RDV 2080.
Icom replacement was a good decision
Wife could not use origional radio. Send button was too difficult. This was recommended and she can use it with ease. Very pleased with the unit!
Fantastic Deal!
These Icoms are a killer deal. Mil-spec tough yet very reasonably priced. After trying out two units, I bought 4 more.

Great little radio
Best value for a great quality, low cost radio. I'm phasing out all of my older Motorola stuff and this radio is making that easy.
Great radio at a great price
I purchased this radio for use as a Search and Rescue volunteer and have not been dissapointed. I primarily chose this radio based on company reputation and cost and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good radio at a very resasonable price. So far it has provided excellent comms and stood up to some decent abuse during training and operations. Easily programmed with the cable and software and then even easier to use while in the field. The only downside is the need for a computer to program the radio. I knew this going in but it is generally not an issue since I work from a list of standard frequencies. Perhaps when this radio dies I will upgrade, until then I would highly recommend this radio to anyone that needs a good handheld at a great price.
Delivers on the quality
We use the radios on a large acreage job site. 600 acres of hills and trees. We were looking for a radio that could keep its reception over a large area. This radio delivered. We have no negatives. The VHF format works excellent for us outside.
Strong and clear
We use these while conducting field wildlife surveys in rugged terrain. They work well in steep topography with interference from trees and hills.
Had Icom before and will keep buying
Manage Rice Dryer works well for employees to stay incontact with each other. Know where employes are at for safty.
