The Midland MXT575J Jeep® MicroMobile™ GMRS two way radio is one of the most powerful mobile radios specifically designed for the General Mobile Radio Service allowed by law! The MXT575J delivers up to full 50 watts of power on 15 GMRS channels and 8 repeater channels with support for 142 privacy codes and split tones. It's also equipped with NOAA weather channels, plus Scan and Alert technology for the latest in ever changing weather conditions.
The MXT575J is packed with the features you expect from an MXT series Micromobile, such as narrow and wide band selectability, high and low power settings, and adjustable squelch sensitivity. It also has a Call Alert Tone, Silent Operation, and that very important Roger Beep for transmit confirmation.
The Midland MXT575J also features a hand microphone with built-in lighted display that includes 7 color options and fully integrated controls, so you can have it on hand where ever you need it and keep the main unit tucked away out of site. The MXT575J includes an external speaker jack and intercom jack for even greater versatility. A USB-C port is built into the radio for quick charging of other devices, such as a smartphone.

A nice surprise!
I have four KG1000's and a KG1000+, so this was my first Midland MXT575J. I was pleasantly surprised at how loud and clear the audio is on this radio, which is especially helpful in an old loud Jeep Cherokee! The receive sensitivity is pretty awesome also. Simple to operate and program from the mic, a great all around GMRS radio!
