Needs a base spring for off road
I bought the antenna and magnetic base together and worked great until the first tree limb. Broke the magnetic base connector off, Antenna is till good.

Mounted this on my Jeep Liberty and worked great. SWR was only 1.05 right out of the package. The best antenna I have ever used.
WORKS GREAT!
This is the second antenna I purchased as I made an error on my first order. This one arrived within two days of placing the order and was well packaged. The tech support I received on correcting my error was spot on and this antenna went on my existing mount. This gives me the flexibility of switching between my analog BTECH ham radio and my new GMRS Wouxun HT. By adding a pigtail from the coax PL259 to my HT and replacing the antenna when traveling, I now have a reasonable facsimile of a mobile GMRS rig for road conditions, etc. when we travel. Swapping antennas is a 30 second process at most and keeps my truck from having the 4th antenna added to the exterior. Great customer service!

Low SWR
Good swr at 1.2:1 across the gmrs band. Antenna came a little long and had to trim it. I would highly recommend.
Great Buy for your radio
Recently got this antenna and paired it with the mag mount that is suggested for it. Using it with a KG1000G. And I am getting way more radio traffic than ever before. I’ve been told im stepping over people and every contact I make is giving me great feedback on audio. This 6 db antenna, combined with the msg mount is powerful and amazing. I would highly recommend to any one looking for a high gain antenna that will make your radio punch harder than Mike Tyson.
Amazing antenna
This antenna was a HUGE improvement to my mobile setup. I am now able to successfully hit repeaters with 12 watts that I previously couldn’t hit period with 50 watts using other antennas! Definitely a great product worth every penny!
