No radio is complete without all the bits that make it fully functional. You'll need this cord to get the most out of the best radios in HT GMRS. So don't short yourself. Order the cord. It's always out of stock for a reason.
Good solid cord
Plugged it in used the mini cd for the correct drivers it found the correct comm and it has worked every time since!!!!
Works
It works as expected. The only thing I'd like it to be a foot or two longer for a bit less restrictive arrangement with a desktop computer sitting under the desk.
Plug & Play Cable
The Cable works great, and makes programming a transceiver a mostly "user friendly" experience. I just wish Wouxun would update all versions of their programming application to a single interface consistent across all radios. Select the model, and it should configure the attributes for the specific radio. I now have 3 radios & 3 programs. CHIRP doesn't cover all the latest radios, but it's the right idea.

Its a programming cable and it works. what more do you need? the cable feels high quality and is super simple to use.
It just works!
THe KG-1000G is a super radio that has a ton of feature, the down side to this is that it can be time consuming to program in all of the needed repeater channels / CTCSS codes as well as other scanner type frequencies. This cable makes that a breeze! Set up your channel map in the app and then hook the cable to the radio and poof, programmed radio.
