could not get it to work
The software will not let me change the comm port so it will not talk to the radio. Usiong Win 7 Have not tried the Linux yet. When I feel like frustration I will try it on my Raspberry Pi.

What is there to say, it worked perfectly. Made programming easy and simple.
Help from support team
Could not get the cable to connect the radio and computer together. One quick call to Buy Two Way Radios support and John downloaded the driver and took care of the problem in five minutes. And it was all done remotely from their site. Now I'm up and running. Thanks again John for all your help and support.

It programs my KG-1000G radio when I plug it in the USB port it work great.

This is a great item. Had a issue with the comport at first once this was straightened out it has been great very happy with. If you have a KG1000G get one.
Cable ok. Software that came with it terrible . Call two way r as do to install.

Works for it’s purpose, but….
Bought this to go along with a KG-1000g. Cable worked just fine but the driver CD that came with the cable along with the CD case was cracked bad. Looked like it was damaged in transit. I had difficulty getting the driver loaded onto my windows PC (took 3 tries). Been needing to call for a new CD but haven’t had time. Hey buytwowayradio, if you see this and send a new driver cd that would be awesome. Otherwise would purchase cable again if I need one.
Not working
Unfortunately I tried every combination I could think of to get this cable/driver to communicate with the Wouxun programming software downloaded from the official Wouxun website onto my Windows 10 pc, but to no avail.
I persistently received communication error messages from the software and tried different com ports. And so unfortunately I Would have to give this product a low rating.
