It takes the best features of a full size mobile radio and puts it all into a very compact package that fits into most any vehicle with ease. And it does all this at a price that won't wallop your wallet. It's not your typical mobile GMRS radio!

The KG-XS20G has 30 GMRS channels, including 8 repeater channels, and can receive on dual UHF and VHF bands. It has NOAA weather channels with alerts, and has a built-in FM radio. It's not your typical in-dash car radio, to be sure.

The XS20G is loaded with features, some that are standard on a few other mainstream GMRS mobiles, but many more that aren't. These include 999 programmable memory channels, simultaneous dual channel receive, channel and frequency modes, wide and narrow bandwidth options, and support for both standard and non-standard CTCSS/DCS tones.and codes, plus split tones and tone scan. It has channel scan, priority channel scanning, and the ability to create up to 10 scan groups. This is not your basic mobile GMRS radio.

Other features include group call, all call and select call options, compander, DTMF encode and decode, high and low power selectivity, single tone pulse frequency, reverse frequency, talk around, an SOS function, English voice prompts and a stopwatch timer. Again, not a basic mobile GMRS radio.

The KG-XS20G is as functional outside the case as it is within. It sports a full color dual channel LCD display that's easy on the eyes. It can display one or both A and B areas of the radio, as well as channel names, numbers or frequencies, plus Caller ID and info on vehicle voltage. A powerful speaker is built into the top of the unit, with ample volume to be heard above noise on the road. A 3.5mm jack on the back of the radio allows you to connect an external speaker as needed.

It's also quite rugged. The Wouxun XS20G is rated IP65 for dust ingress and water resistance and the hand microphone is rated IP55, which makes this a great GMRS radio to take on off-road adventures!

The KG-SX20G includes a handheld speaker mic with a full DTMF keypad. It has TX and RX LED indicators and a volume knob for independent control of the audio on the front of the speaker mic. The keypad on the mic is also backlit for easier operation in the dark.

Speaking of versatility, the Wouxun XS20G is also fully PC programmable. The radio also includes two programmable function keys that can be customized either with the programming software or directly from the menu on the radio itself. One key is located on the front panel of the radio, the other on the side of the hand speaker microphone. Each can be independently programmed to activate two specific features, one with a short press of the key, the second with a long press. Once more, not your typical GMRS mobile.

In addition to its primary function as a mobile radio, the KG-SX20G can also be powered by an optional Wouxun Power Supply (sold separately) to turn your GMRS mobile receiver into a fully operational GMRS base station! How's that for versatility?
