Hi, the MD-2017 was only listed for pre-order on our site about a week ago. We expect to receive them in our warehouse within the next couple of weeks.
Although we did have the MD-9600 listed for pre-order for quite a while, we took it off pre-order status for a bit due to numerous delays from TYT. We just put it back on pre-order after TYT informed us it should ship sometime this month. Whether that actually happens or not depends entirely on the manufacturer.
If it's any consolation, we're waiting right along with you.

Well it is beginning of June and your site still says pre-order. Has this or the MD-9600 actually started shipping? Anyone tried these radios yet?

I'll still wait until a finished product is actually shipping and has been tested in the real world, but considering that TYT actually has produced a working DMR radio before (and they have a lot better reputation for build quality than certain other cheap Chinese HT brands), I'd expect TYT to actually get this one right. At least the engineers at TYT know what they are trying to accomplish, which is more than can be said for the company behind the last debacle.

You'll forgive me if I'm a bit skeptical given the MD-9600 hasn't started shipping yet.
