If you think CB radio is dead then you're not turning on your radio there are thousands of people using the radio every day there is skip 9s units and more.. There are people from Mexico on Channel 9 Costa Rica and all over the united states ! Most people buy their CB radios online it's called Stryker ! I've been monitoring the 11 M BAND for years and now the Sunspot Cycles are back ! And there's crazies out there modifying striker radios and driving them with ameritron amplifiers ! One man boasts Transmitting 2 KW on channel 6 calls himself shotgun ... Along with his Contact 12 gauge .. I don't participate using the 11 M BAND because I am a ham radio operator but I do listen to all the carnage that's going on ! If you want to know if 10 m is open go to your general coverage receiver and go to the 11 meter band you'll get an earful ! Sincerely yours .....
