The KG-S86B is ready for use right out of the box with 16 channels pre-programmed for business frequencies used by other popular business radios. It supports up to 400 custom programmable channels and allows you to customize your radio using any of the 99 business specific frequencies and 155 CTCSS/DCS codes built right in. No training is needed to operate this radio. The KG-S86B is pre-configured to provide your company or organization with instant radio comms at up to 2 watts of transmit power!
The Wouxun KG-S86B is built with a superheterodyne receiver for reliable communication. It features a lighted LCD display, standard and non-standard CTCSS/DCS, priority channel scan, Call ID, a monitor function and DTMF support. Other features include English voice prompts, companding, VOX and low battery alert. It has two configurable side keys and and configurable top key. It also has a built-in flashlight.
The KG-S86B offers rugged reliability. It is IP65 dust and water resistant for use in most indoor and outdoor business operations. The 2000mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack provides many hours of operation on a single charge and can be quickly recharged through the built-in USB-C port on the side of the radio.
The Wouxun KG-S86B includes a lithium-ion battery pack, antenna, belt clip, desktop charger, AC adapter, wrist strap, owner's manual and a one year manufacturer warranty.

Hard to beat
I purchased one radio just to test it out. I expected the radio to take two, maybe three weeks to arrive. Previous experience with another dealer showed the radios I purchased taking three months to arrive.
I noticed Buy Two Way Radios immediately made a label and shipped the radio out the next business day. The ratio arrived within four days.
Programming was a cinch, and the radio sends and receives like expected.
I have now purchased five more radios and will give them to our maintenance crew to put through the paces. If the maint crew approves, more radios will be purchased.
Further, the tech crew at Buy Two Way Radios were quick to answer emails. It seems like the answer came before I wrote the email. That's how quick they are at getting back.
Overall, great little radio, great purchasing experience and great customer service!

Sturdy workhorses
I initially purchased several of these for our Sheepdogs at our church, as well as for our maintenance crew at our church related school.
They were so popular that two of our Sheepdogs wanted their own. So the last two radios I purchased were for them.
They are very popular because of their size. They are small and easy to carry.
They also are very easy and quick to program with the programming software which can be downloaded.
Well worth the less than $130 price tag. In fact, I'm surprised they are not higher priced.
If you need a radio for your business...the KG-S86B is the way to go!

Good radio when they work
We have had 4 radio's need repairs in the first year of use. Returns and repairs were accomplished well.

Great workhorse radios
I have purchased multiple S86's for use at our church. The SheepDogs love them. We have them programmed to our allotted business frequencies with the privacy tones. We've been using these radios for about two years and not a glitch at all. Like I said, these are work horses.
