Midland is well known and respected for its line of FRS, GMRS, CB and emergency weather radios. The company recently expanded into the business communications market as well, with the introduction of its first portable handheld onsite business two way radio, the Midland BizTalk BR200.
The BR200 supports 56 UHF business frequencies and has 16 channels, some of which are pre-programmed with frequencies and codes most commonly used by some of the other onsite business radios, most notably the extremely popular CLS Series radios from Motorola and the Kenwood PKT-23.
Here is a list of Midland BizTalk channel numbers with the default frequencies and privacy codes assigned to them out of the box.

Although these channels are pre-assigned to these frequencies by default, they can be re-assigned to any of the other supported 56 frequencies stored in the BR200, many of which are also supported by other makes and models of onsite business radios.
Please tell me the operating range of these radios .Is it 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile or more?
Thank you,
Lindley Deering
