How to fix issues with the TYT MD-UV390 Plus Programming Cable

If you are running Windows 11, you may encounter an issue with connecting the TYT-MD-UV390 Plus DMR Digital Radio using the TYT PROG USB programming cable. This may occur the first time the radio is connected to the computer, or as an intermittent issue.

For those struggling with windows 11. You have to disable memory integrity in the core isolation section of Device Security

Since installing frequencies into my TYT MDUV 390 I now have no receive or transmit signal neither works.

"Go ahead and install the USB driver." Dude, that's exactly what I came here to do. There's no explanation, there are multiple files in that folder and I have no idea what I'm supposed to do to install. This video was more frustrating than helpful. I'm really beginning to regret buying this radio.

Hitting this issue and nothing works. I've followed the instructions to the letter and no joy. Windows 11 just doesn't like this plug. Any hope of an update to make it functional?

I tried this and did not work, what are my other options? I did see it come up but once to downloads it still did not install.

Re MD-380 ( also MD390 and 280 I guess)
I got confused coming from Retevis and Baofeng programming. I was expecting the driver to install a COM port - it doesn't need one !
When you click Read Radio or Write - you just click OK to start, not at the end.
Also needed to run the TYT software as admin.
This was on Win7 - The driver Inf file only mentions Win 98, 2K, and Win 7 as WHQL passed so not sure about Win 10.
