Hello, I’m interested in a decent gmrs radio for my can am maverick x3. I ride in northern Michigan mostly but go to the Hatfield and McCoy trails in Virginia, WV. I’m interested in the midland mxt 275, I like it because of the power vs a handheld, but I worry will it drain my battery , I also like that I can install some earphones into my helmet with the port on the mic. I guess I’m wondering what your thoughts were overall. Is there an acceptable handheld option? I’d prefer constant clear good range so our group of riders can alert if there’s an issue. Thanks for your help.
