Hi Robin, as noted in the article and in earlier comments, the Motorola DLR1020 and DLR1060 are basically the same radio and should work together right out of the box. The only caveat is that the DLR1020 has two channels and the DLR1060 has six channels, so both radios need to be on channels 1 or 2.
I work at Walmart and they just purchased the DLR 1060 radios and I work in maintenance and have to turn it in at every shift. I was wondering if the DLR 1020 would work with their 1060s?? What I'm saying is would the DLR1020 be compatible with DLR 1060?
