All of the GMRS radios we sell at Buy Two Way Radios operate on the same 22 GMRS channels and frequencies assigned by the FCC. Many of these models support the 8 FCC assigned GMRS repeater channels as well. We are sometimes asked for the exact frequencies of these channels. The chart below lists these frequencies, along with their channel numbers, maximum allowable power, and maximum allowable bandwidth.

Wouxun KG-XS20G Mobile GMRS radio with 30 channels and extreme long range. |

its called the travelers tone
certainly a good place to start
when i program a gmrs radio to give to someone i program that tone to all the repeater pairs
I hope youre having fun with your radios
Peaceful Tom
However, I have the CDM-1250 GMRS radio and I have had many say it is a great radio.
Since then I just purchased the Alinco DR-MD500 which can do both GMRS & HAM TX & RX
For my needs in storm spotting/storm chaser, EMS, along with search & rescue I can monitor the HAM stations that are for National Weather Service (NWS) & SkyWarn when I am working out there.
Now I just need to start programming all these frequencies.
I will also be able to RX all WI State PD, and county PD & FD that I am working in.
Have fun!
