At the core of the package is the KG-935G Plus GMRS Two Way Radio. Designed for the serious GMRS operator, this portable handheld powerhouse has 15 high powered GMRS simplex channels, 8 low powered simplex channels and all 8 GMRS repeater channels at up to 5.5 watts of power. It boasts 999 programmable memory channels with QT/DQT encoding and decoding, DTMF encode/decode and 25KHz/12.5KHz wide/narrow bandwidth selection. And that's only the beginning.
The KG-935G Plus also has a large, full color dual channel display with 10 display color themes. It also features a full DTMF keypad, TX and RX LED indicators, two programmable side keys and a built-in flashlight. The keypad is also backlit for easier operation in the dark.
Of course, this isn't just the radio. It's the Wouxun KG-935G Plus Deluxe Edition! Yes. This radio is fully compatible with all 22 channel FRS, GMRS, or FRS/GMRS combo radios.
Single radio.
While this radio is easy to use and is compatible with other FRS and GMRS radios, it was designed with power users in mind. It is
more durable, is higher wattage, is equipped with a more powerful battery and has better audio quality than typical consumer radios. It is also IP66 dust and waterproof. Basically, it is built like a business radio.
It also has advanced features that would usually appeal more to "power users," such as repeater support
and the ability to use PC programming software to customize the channels list.
Yes, if you use the programming software (available from the Downloads tab). The KG-935G Plus supports up to 999 custom channels, and with the software you can add new channels or even remove standard ones. The CTCSS/DCS tones can be customized for each channel and can be different for transmit and receive.
Extra channels are useful for many reasons. If you access different repeaters that use the same frequency but different tones, it's more convenient to add each combination to its own channel instead of changing tones through the menu. Channels can also be given friendly names instead of a simple number, and the default channel names can be customized.

The KG-935G is designed for maximum cross-compatibility with other Wouxun branded GMRS radios. It uses the same battery and charger as the KG-905G, and there are multiple antenna options available. It also uses the same 2-pin Kenwood style (K1) audio connector found on many other radios, so headsets, speaker mics and other audio accessories are no problem at all. If you already have the KG-905G Plus and want to add the KG-935G to your GMRS operations, you're all set for accessories.
Yes. Even though this radio is fully compatible with license free FRS radios, it has several features that make it fall under
the GMRS service and not FRS. Some of these features are: 5 watts of power (FRS limit is 2), removable antenna (FRS must be fixed),
and repeater support (FRS doesn't support repeaters). Check out our GMRS licensing FAQ page for more info.

Really appreciate the well thought out kit. Needed 2 radios so i bought 1 individual and 1 kit...worked out perfectly.
Very nice built aluminum body radio
This radio hits repeaters well at the full five watts, upgraded to super stick IV 465 mhz gmrs antenna and very happy with results. Wouxun programmer software is easy to use.

Great radio
First, you don''t need a magnifying glass to read manual. Great radio and easy to program using computer. Really good sound and it feels great in your hand. Keeps charge for a good amount of time. Last, all that comes in the kit is worth every penny you pay for it.

Couldn’t be happier
Still rather new to the GMRS environment but enjoying the learning curve that comes with it. I have been a Ham Technician for a few years and have seen my equipment grow rather quickly.. Was happy to find this deluxe kit that already comes with much of the items needed to create a great experience in GMRS would recommend going this route to save a lot of time and money.

My Favorite GMRS HT
Quick shipping from BTWR and a great radio. You certainly get what you pay for here compared to the more affordable GMRS radios on the market. The menu system is very clear and easy to use and there are very helpful instructions in the manual to turn to if something isn’t clear. Being able to program through CHIRP was fast and easy but using the channel wizard for entries on the go is also really easy and intuitive. It is the attention to detail with all of the smaller features that add up to a great overall product. I also found that the reception on this radio was noticeably more clear than some of my others.

This is my second 935G+. Ist one was for me, the second was as a gift. Repeater programming is a snap with the new programming functions. A great GMRS radio that plays well with others!
Great GMRS HT!
This is my first part 95 GMRS radio and I am very happy with my purchase. Sound quality on the HT microphone and speaker is high quality. The size and weight of the HT make it easy to handle because it fits great in my hand. The knobs are all very stiff, which gives me more confidence wearing the HT without changing the volume or channel. Also, CHIRP works like a breeze and no need to mess with Wouxon app to program. 73's
