It transmits on the 15 high powered GMRS simplex channels, 8 low powered simplex channels and all 8 GMRS repeater channels at up to 5.5 watts of power, with no special programming needed! It has dual receive capability on both UHF and VHF bands, a built-in NOAA weather Mode with weather alert, 5 weather alert notifications, and an FM radio mode. It also has 999 programmable memory channels with 155 CTCSS tones and DCS codes, transmit overtime alarm, low voltage prompt, channel name edit and display, and VOX (Voice Operated Transmit). Great accessory value

Great accessory value for GMRS HTs. Looked at stepping down to a pair of KG-905Gs and buying accessories a la carte, and it still has significant savings.

Since the accessories are compatible with the KG-905G and KG-935G, I'll probably end up buying 1 or 2 KG-905Gs for some less sophisticated coordination among family.

This was an excellent value. Got the kit within a few days of ordering. Everything was as advertised. The radios themselves are solidly built and very easy to navigate. Sound quality is high. Transmission is a bit iffy where I live due to the terrain, but still capable. Would definitely buy again.

Pretty Comprehensive Kit

All in all it's a pretty comprehensive kit, packed in a small easy to go case. Very expensive, but it certainly made it easy. The kit should include hand mics, which are very useful when using in a vehicle (I had to buy them separately). Also, including (2) batteries, a car charger, AND a AA battery case per radio seems a little excessive, but let's hope that having to use all the power options never comes to pass.....

Havnt had the prepper pack for long but the purchase experience was very good. Everything works well and it was packed tight and shipped fast. So far we are two thumbs up. The radios are pricey for sure but everyone says there worth it. Will find out. I have heard alot of good things about "BuytwowayRadios" and there support team.
